YAY!

Last Thursday (2-19-09) the girls had their two month old appointment with the pediatrician. They are still doing well, growing, and gaining weight. Emma is now 8lb 6oz and Mya is 8lb 3oz. Then Brandon and I went to the cardiologist with Emma last Friday (2-20-09) to find out about her heart murmur. They did an ultra sound for about 45 minutes on her heart. The Cardiologist said that her heart sounds fine. That alot of times when babies are this small their chest cavity is so thin still you can hear so much more going on in their little bodies so it can sound like an echo. They didn't see any holes, but if there are any they would be so small they should heal up on their own in time.
So we are relieved and want to thank you all for your prayers and support. We thank God everyday for the girls good health and our families help. xoxo

They're growing so fast!

The weekly MD appointment

Once again the girls had a MD appointment today. They are still doing really well. Emma weights 7 pounds 8 ounces and 19.75 inches long. The MD also said that the heart murmur sounds alot better. So hopefully by the time we go in for their next visit it will be gone and she won't need to go to the cardiologist. Mya is 7 pounds and 19.5 inches long.

Another MD appointment for Mya and Emma

I took the girls to another MD appointment today. They are doing well and still gaining weight. Emma is now 7 lb in the 21st percentile and 20 inches long which is 55th percentile. Mya is now 6.5 lb in the 11th percentile and 19.5 inches long which is the 34th percentile. There is a small concern for Emma though. Our Doctor thinks that Emma might have a small heart murmur. We have an appointment with the Cardiologist on February 20th. So we would really appreciate all of your prayers for her health. Thanks again for all your support. xoxo

Mya and Emma's 3rd Doctor Appointment

Yesterday, January 13th, was my original due date and would have been my 40th week. Mya and Emma went to the doctors today for their 3rd appointment. We go about once a week to check on their weight an how they are eating. We are pleased to announce that they are doing well!

Mya now weighs 6.13 pounds which is the 11th percentile. She is 18.6 inches long, which is the 18th percentile.

Emma now weighs 6.5 pounds, which is the 18th percentile. She is 19.1 inches long, which is the 36th percentile.
